Poquoson is a small city on the water, with one ZIP code, four schools and boats in a lot of driveways. Bubba grew up next door in Seaford and knows these marshes well.

Langley AFB sits just south of Poquoson in Hampton. Most of the city is about 15 minutes from the gate off-peak. NASA Langley is a similar drive.
Poquoson is low and almost surrounded by water. Hurricane Isabel in 2003, a 2009 nor’easter and Hurricane Irene in 2011 caused serious flooding, and many homes have since been raised. Check the FEMA flood map, the home’s elevation certificate and a flood insurance quote early.
